The postdoc is expected to play a critical role in the detector R&D process, including detector simulation, software development, R&D of the detector components, and the prototype work in Baikal-GVD and the South China Sea. The postdoctoral position is for two years with an option to extend for a third year. What You Need
1. Good oral and written communication skills;
2. Experience with data analysis tools typically used in particle physics or astronomy, or experience with detector R&D;
3. Publication record in high energy physics or astronomy
Education: Applicant must have a Ph.D. in high energy physics or astronomy within the last three years, or soon to be completed, and be under 35 years of age.
